What is a private school? A private school is run by an owner other than a municipality or county council. All of AcadeMedia's private schools are completely free of charge in Sweden. Everyone has the opportunity to apply to a private school, regardless of where they are registered. Application and admission of students takes place in the same way as at a municipal school.
